Society PB is Re-opening!

blog

San Diego has been cleared to move into “Phase Two” of reopening. This is exciting news for us, because “Dine-In” is allowed once again during this phase. We are pleased to announce that we are reopening on Wednesday, June 17th, starting at 4PM. If you’ve missed having a place you can relax and hang out with your friends, now is your chance to get together and celebrate!

We have missed seeing our customers, watching sports with you, and eating great food. Although things will look a little bit different due to current safety restrictions, we hope you’ll come and celebrate with us! Here’s a little more information on what you can expect during this time, including what will be the same and what will be different.

  • Times
Society PB will be open starting at 4PM, with regular menu available until 11PM. There is no brunch or late night menu at this time. We do not yet know what our closing hours will be.
  • Limited capacity
We will be operating at 50% capacity. This might mean a wait time to get in, as well as other delays. The reduced capacity makes it more difficult for the novel coronavirus, Covid-19 to spread, and gives us time to do the extra disinfecting that goes hand in hand with keeping you safe.
  • Pool tables open!
While we do ask that you maintain social distancing, you can still play pool, as well as shuffleboard. We welcome you to have fun, relax, enjoy these games and have a few drinks. Just stay safe while you’re doing so! Six feet apart is the recommended distance.

This includes while waiting and being seated too, so keep that in mind when you stop by.

  • Over 60? Compromised immune system?
We care deeply about our customers, and definitely want to see you here. Covid-19 has shown to be particularly lethal to those who are older or have compromised immune systems. Please think of your health first before visiting. If you are in one of these categories, you may want to continue to stay home, even if things are beginning to reopen.
  • We ask for your patience
June 17th is our first day opening, and we know there will probably be a few kinks to work out. We ask for your patience as we learn and adapt to the challenges posed to us by Covid-19. Please expect delays, as we may have limited seating or need extra time to disinfect.

We are very glad to be back in action, and we genuinely want to see you, even if it takes a little longer.
